How the surgery is done.

The anterior approach reaches the hip through a natural seam between muscles, moving them aside rather than cutting across them. Dr. Patel offers anterior and bikini-incision anterior replacement for selected patients, and other proven approaches when your anatomy calls for them. An approach is a technical choice, not a promise.
